East Film "Minimal Stories"
May 24, 2008 at 18:00 # 1542 Avenida Salvador

For those who still believe in a human-scale film that shines and dazzles with its particular view of everyday life, that seduces us through a smart script that through staging completely removed the trappings of unnecessary noise and the over-abundance of special effects, the film Argentina "Minimal Stories" by Carlos Sorin gives us a gift that is appreciated and re-enchant us once again with the sweet intimacy of a darkened room and a projection of energy that pours its living colors on a sheet in tension.
The film is structured on the basis of 3 different stories that end up being part of the same human search for fulfillment and happiness in an almost lost the deep south of Argentina. The first story introduces us to Don Justo, elderly man received after a news goes in search of his dog "Malacara" lost in recent years. The second story is that of Roberto, a traveling salesman, and his difficulties to deliver a birthday gift to the son of a client. The latest story is that of Mary, a young mother motivated to travel far from their small town by a television contest. "Minimal Stories" is one of those movies that remind us of the greatness of the people, goodness, beauty and the beautiful, beautiful beings that we are anonymous. ANTONIO
